 VOTER INFORMATION

Contact the County Clerk's office at 870-238-5735 for any assistance with voting registration or information. 

• To register to vote, one must complete a Voter Registration Application that can be obtained from the County Clerk's office in the courthouse or by downloading at this Link to Voter Registration Application. This registration must be completed within thirty days of an election.
  
  
• One who registers to vote at the Revenue Office when they get or renew a driver's license should call the County Clerk's office at (870) 238-5735 to verify that their name has been added to the voter registration list.
  
  
• Please be aware that there is NO online voter registration in Arkansas. If a person receives notice to do so, it is likely a scam.

• A resident of Cross County who needs to make an address or name change should contact the County Clerk's office (870-238-5735) for assistance with these updates. This should be done before election day in order to speed up the voting process at the polls.

• To vote by Absentee Ballot, one must complete an Absentee Ballot Application that can be obtained from the County Clerk's office or by downloading at the following Link to Application for Absentee Ballot.

• If a person is registered to vote in another county in Arkansas, the voter registration can be transferred up to FOUR days before the election day.  This can be done in the County Clerk's office in the courthouse.

Cross County uses Vote Centers, so that on General Election or Primary Election day, any registered voter of the County may vote at any polling location in the County.

All early voting for General and Primary Elections is conducted at the Cross County Courthouse Annex located at 704 Canal St E in Wynne.

Voting for School Board Elections may be held at other locations. Contact the County Clerk's office for specific information or refer to information above.
